FY500 will not power up

•       Does the mains socket have power, and the power cable connected securely?

•       Do you see a light on the power switch when in the on position?

•       No light on switch

•       Check the fuse in the holder below the power connector

•       If this does not work, check the fuse in the power lead plug, if present.

•       Power switch light is lit

•       Check that the SmartController is plugged in and the connectors are secure with no damaged pins.

•       Have you set the power supply voltage switch correctly?

Please note: If you are in a country with 230/240v power, and the voltage selection switch was set to 115v when you connected it, you will have damaged the power supply and it will need to be replaced. Contact support.

•       If you have gone through these steps and still no power, please contact support.

FY500 SmartController will not connect to WiFi

•       Ensure the WiFi network you want to use is available on 2.4Ghz. The SmartController will only connect to a 2.4Ghz WiFi network.

•       If the WiFi requires additional authentication to access the internet once connected, the SmartController will not work with this (public WiFi hotspots, Hotels, etc)

I deleted my controller in the FuckYeah App

•       Restart the SmartController. After it has connected to WiFi it will be available to register again. Follow the instructions as if this was a new SmartController to Register inside the FuckYeah App.

I don’t see my patterns

•       Ensure the SmartController is online on WiFi.

•       Make sure the machine is not in motion and the SmartController is the main home screen menu. This will allow the patterns to download if you have changed them in the FuckYeah App.

•       In the FuckYeah App, making a change to the order or selected patterns will display the Save Changes button. Within a second or two you should see the SmartController message “Downloading Pattern” on the left-hand display.

•       If you have more than one device registered, ensure you are viewing the correct one in the FuckYeah App.

•       If you have factory-reset your SmartController, it will no longer be connected. Make sure you delete the old device in the FuckYeah App: In the device view, Settings, Delete Device

I get an error during Calibration for no obvious reason

•       Does the motor attempt to move the slide?

•       No attempt: Check power to the machine is ok. If there is no green power light on the motor controller, the PSU or controller may have been damaged or failed. Please contact support for advice.

•       If the motor controller has a flashing red light, there may be a fault. Disconnect power, and check for obviously loose or damaged cables. Please contact support for advice.

•       Yes, but it does not stop at the end of travel. Disconnect power, and check the calibration sensors are not obviously damaged, and that the blade that passes through them is intact. A full guide is available here.
If nothing is obviously wrong, please contact support for advice.

I get a Movement Error during use

If the machine stops working and displays a movement error on the screen, it means the motor overload protection has been triggered, or there is a fault with the controller or cabling.

•       Turn off the power and check the movement is clear to extend and retract fully.

•       Note that the machine’s pushing force is inversely proportional to how fast it’s moving, i.e. it’s high torque at low speed and low torque at high speed. If you’ve turned the speed up high and it’s triggering the movement error, you may be approaching the limits of the machine’s capability. Try using it at a slower speed setting.

•       If there is no obvious cause for the issue and it’s persisting, please contact support.
